General Election 2015

With all the results in, it is clear that the Conservatives have received just under 37% of the votes and 331 MPs, a majority in the 650 seat House of Commons.

This chart illustrates how the Conservatives, Labour and the SNP have benefited from the first-past-the-post system at the expense of UKIP, the Liberal Democrats and the Green Party.
